bio

I’m a socially engaged multimedia artist and educator. Holding a First Class Hons Degree in Fine Arts. I was born in Italy were I attended The European Institute of Design in Naples.

From 2006 I started exhibiting at an international level, including projects involving communities in collaboration with other artists and art organizations.

 

Projects for the public realm and community engagement

2016

- Sound Crystal Image. Collaboration with the Sound Artist Anthony Elliot, part of the commission by Dartford Creative funded by Arts Council https://vimeo.com/178830438

- Francesca e L’Aquilone (Francesca’s Kite), I engaged with a group of young teenage girls from the community of Italian migrants in Dartford for the creation of an art installation and artist book, part of the public art commission by Dartford Creative funded by Arts Council (https:// francescaelaquilone.jimdo.com)

Traits and Lines, I engaged with the community of Italian working migrants in London, through a series of interviews. The outcome was displayed at Stuart Hall Library, INIVA, London (http://www.iniva.org/library/news/migrating_dreams_and_nightmares)

Wetlands 2016, I worked in collaboration with youth centres in Medway in order to create a series of short films creating interaction between the young people of the Hoo peninsula and their landscape.

2015
